Tactical FAQ

What makes Fleetway Super Sonic unique in Abyssal Escape?
Fleetway Super Sonic is the only Killer in the October 2026 Public Playtest with vertical Flight levitation and a long-range Chaos Laser beam attack.
How do Survivors dodge Fleetway's Chaos Laser and Burst AoE?
Break line of sight behind solid stone pillars as soon as Fleetway glows golden in the air, and save Boost or Drop Dash to exit his Burst AoE radius.

How Does Fleetway Super Sonic Work in Abyssal Escape?

Originating from the classic Sonic the Comic (Fleetway) lore, Fleetway Super Sonic brings a completely different combat dimension to Abyssal Escape. While grounded Killers like 2017X and 2011X must navigate floor geometry and Survivor traps, Fleetway levitates above the battlefield with glowing golden chaos energy and spiral red eyes.

In our Killer Tier List, Fleetway holds a strong A-Tier placement: his skill floor is higher because aiming ranged beams requires precision, but master Fleetway players can snipe fleeing Vessels across the room.

Fleetway Super Sonic Moveset & Abilities

Fleetway’s kit blends verticality with explosive area denial across Phases 1 to 3:

Ability / Skill Type Tactical Breakdown
Flight / Hover Vertical Mobility Elevates Fleetway above the floor, giving clear sightlines over low obstacles and ignoring ground-placed Banana Peels.
Chaos Laser Beam Ranged Energy Snipe Fires a concentrated chaos energy beam down corridors, punishing Survivors who run in predictable straight lines.
Chaos Burst (AoE) Radial Explosion Discharges a massive golden shockwave around Fleetway (“YOU’RE NOT VERY GOOD AT THIS, ARE YOU?”), shredding nearby Vessels.
Phase 1–3 Surge Evolution Passive Increases chaos aura intensity, beam pressure, and recovery speed as the match reaches Phase 3.

How to Play Fleetway Super Sonic Effectively

  1. Use Flight to Scout Over Dividers: Pop Flight in open halls to spot custom brightly colored Vessels (see Vessel Customization Guide) from across the map before they can hide in dark corners.
  2. Snipe Animation-Locked Survivors: The best time to fire Chaos Laser Beam is when a Survivor is locked in an animation—such as placing a Trap, taunting, or recovering from a missed Homing Attack.
  3. Bait Stunners Into Chaos Burst: Survivors carrying Homing Attack (see Survivor Abilities Guide) love locking onto Fleetway. Trigger Chaos Burst right as they dive toward you to punish their approach with heavy AoE damage.

How to Counter Fleetway Super Sonic as a Survivor

  • Force Fights Into Low-Ceiling Rooms: Avoid wide open halls on Don’t Drown. Duck into cramped cells and pillared side rooms where Fleetway’s Flight and Chaos Laser sightlines are constantly blocked by walls.
  • Watch the Golden Wind-Up Cue: Both Chaos Laser and Chaos Burst have distinct golden particle telegraphs and voice/dialogue cues. Save your Ability Stamina to dash perpendicular to his aim the moment his hands charge up.
